    I always peel a couple of red apples and put in. (not the same with green). Makes it taste totally different.

    I second coriander , I love carrot and coriander soup and pumpkin soup is very similar.

    I usually put in the squeezy Gourmet Garden Thai herb mix which is yummy with pumpkin.
