    Default natural birth after induction

I am a bit of an odd one, my first was a big fella, born 9 days late. My second induced for growth restriction/low fluid/low movement at 38+3. So if I go naturally again this time, would I expect to go post dates? Or will the induction have given my body different ideas?

I am by no means an expert but I wouldn't have thought a previous induction would affect the gestation period of subsequent babies (that is what you're asking isn't it?). My first was induced at 42+2, but my second was spontaneous labour at 41+3. I always said with my second child that she would be 'late' but not as late as her older brother and presto, I was right!

I dont think previous inductions would have any impact on your timing this time or any future times.

If it were previous premature labour (spontaneous) then i think ur chance of it happening again is upped a bit more than the average chance but not induction
