I keep afternoon bingeing on chocolate. Not heeeeeeeaps but enough that I shouldn't be eating it I feel sick afterwards. Anyone else caught themselves doing this? It's the worst time to do it too - 36 weeks is when bub starts stacking on the kilos :,(

Finally feeling better. I was vomiting for 2days, but still felt queasy two days after that. It wasnt fun! Especially as i had initially hoped it meant labour was imminent, but obviously it wasnt as im still in one piece. My last 5 days of pregnacy (ever!) are so full of appointments and medical crap that its stressing me out! Give me an overdue, surprise bday baby anyday.

Girls, should I be worried? My levels have been lower than usual the last two days. I haven’t changed my diet, same foods. My educator said if your levels go up it’s a good indication that things are going well. If they take a sudden drop something could be wrong. I’ve rang the hospital and they left a message and I also rang and left a message at my OB’s.... Has anyone else had any problems with this? Any experience? The drops aren’t hypos but for example I’m on 16 slow release insulin at night and I was contemplating upping it the other few days as my levels were 5.2 etc, yesterday they were 4.1 and this morning 4.4. I just took my breakfast one and it was 4.9. Usually 5.4 – 5.8ish. Yesterday after a small pasta meal it was 4.8 and last night after a couple pieces of ‘healthy’ pizza they were 6.4 which I expected to be higher...

Id wait til you get to talk to a specialist. Mine do similar and then i have massive jumps.

I have also been experiencing alot of hypos which resulted in my doses being lowered.

They sound like good levels to me atm. I would be worried if they were lower.

I'm getting the same thing. My levels have been increased regularly for the past 9wks, and are always over 6 or over 7. This past week they were all under 5, first time I haven't needed an increase. I'd say as long as they are within the range you should be ok.
