That's what I thought! We went over all my levels the past 5wks and my fasting is always over, bumping up by 5 only kept it down one day. So I might need increases every day or two apparently.

Wow. They are really trying to keep you under control and perhaps under the limits. Prob because you have big bubs.

I would be taking the induction at this point. I know you dont want one but if your insulin levels are only going up its the best thing for you and bubs i think for Bub to be out and healthy. Try like crazy between now and then to go natural.

They really have been trying the last few weeks. Going by my scan yesterday bub is 3.3kg (7pd) and will be about 4kg(9pd) at term. The same size as my ds2 was. Not huge at all..

Oh, funny fact, my fasting was 6.2 this morning im hoping my body just needs to adjust a bit, 45units huuuurt!

Hi girls, little update to inspire you all to keep going and to let you know there definitely is a light at the end of the gd tunnel.

Sophie spent 24 hours under the care of special care nurses (not on there ward) she never left my side but being a gd baby she had to have 2 hourly bottle feeds of 30ml and 2 hourly bsl readings and temps taken. She passed with flying colours def no ongoing gd problems. Shes held her own.

I had the same obs done on my bsl every 4 hours and after day 2 (yesterday) my bsl has returned to normal levels without insulin. We both came home from hospital today.

So I know its hard now girls but it really is worth it. Sophie is proof shes fine. We both have a gtt at 6 weeks. We are now up to 3 hourly feeds of 50ml and shes eating and sleeping fine.
