    For those who were talking about insulin disposal. My hospital/diabetes educator take any remaining and send it to Africa where insulin isn't available. I think its awesome!

    I hope my hospital does this. I was given 5 boxes of Lantus. I thought "awesome, 5pens, that will last me until im due". I got home and opened a box, there are 5 pens in EACH box. Thats 25pens of Lantus! I only need 5-6pens.

    Stupid levels. I eat the same thing every morning and just took my 2 hr after breakfast and got 7 :-/

    Maybe try something different. That particular food might be a trigger for you. This is what was happening to me, it was why they decided to put me on insulin, no matter what I ate my levels would go up and down. So if you find something that keeps them down the better for you
