Ohh, exciting!!! 3kg it's a great weight (would be tiny for me).

I've got between 29-43 days left (57 maximum). I get my first scan on Wednesday, I'm interested to see how big she is with this uncontrolled gd. Im thinking she is in the 50th %ile.

Thanks Miados, I love that website. Will check it out.

Has anyone else been advised not to drink any diet drinks by their Endo?

Miados, I had a c-section with my ds. I know that everyone is different and every c-section is different but my experience was really good. I found the anxiety leading up to it to be the most difficult part of the whole process. I was allowed valium the night before and morning of the procedure, which was great but I know that not everyone feels comfortable with that.

Thank you. Yes you'd think id be used to the idea of a c section now ive known my next birth would have to be one for the last 5 years! But then again miss number 3 was a suprise!

I had my usual middy appoint today and she put my mind at rest too. Shebsaid just be open with the anesthesiologist and he can always add a bit of something as she put it in the drip if im really anxious. She also said the lead up is the worst and once your on the table your completely focused on meeting bubs and it goes surprisingly quick. So im feeling alot better now. Bring it on I say! At the most I need to inject 40 more times until I birth! Thats now the countdown!

Edited to answer your question. Yes ive been advised not drink the diet drinks before. I only ever drink water and tea and coffee unsweetened anyway even not pregnant. So not a big issue for me. But its in all my hospital material.

Just checking in. How did your scan go and have you changed your insulin?

Scan went great she is 2.4kg (5pd 7oz), on the 60th%ile. Great fluid levels too. They have put me on eli-lilly humulin NHP (I think). It's not a disposable pen but a pen that you get cartridges fit. They've given me 5cartidges which should last until I'm due. Fingers crossed in not allergic to that one too. (Same stuff made by different company)

Awesome news. Youre on the same insulin as me.

It looks very posh coming in its case and chrome handle like an oversized parker pen hey.
