The results are in and it seems that it's not a sticky one for me this time.

I had a low positive result but, with the hcg at 15, I was told that it is not viable and to stop the medication (can't say I will miss that crinone - ugh). I go for another test on the 29 Nov.

Whilst DH and I are both disappointed, it is our first try at IVF (ICSI) and knew that it is unusual to get it right first go (particularly as I am 43, and DH is 45).

From my EPU we got 6 eggs; 2 were ET and 2 made it to become frosties. We will use these 2 for a FET in January.

Good luck everyone, I will keep following you all and hope NOT to see you on the Jan thread! xx

Hi Shell, have a look here - http://www.betabase.info/showBasicChart.php?type=Single - it is about "averages" of HCG levels at certain DPO - Stay positive (easier said than done i know!)

I'm sorry it didn't stick Dee, but 2 frozen is really promising! They have to be pretty good quality to freeze.

Congrats Shell, those two lines look pretty good!

Lemonpancakes welcome 14 eggies is an awesome number, will be keeping fingers crossed for great fertilization for you! will add you to our roll call also

Megs I was in exactly the same boat as you! I cant stand MIVF! Firstly my FS overstimulated me and after getting 21 eggs I had a two day stay in hospital (missing my nephews wedding of which I was MC) out of 21 eggs, 13 fertilized but he froze them at day2! wtf! anyway first ET cancelled. Next cycle lost first at thaw, 2x2dt BFN. After the BFN he decided to thaw 6 to day 5...day 4 all died! so FET cancelled. Next cycle he decided to take them to day 3..one died at thaw 2x3dt (only 2 cell and 4 cell at day 3!) again wtf! BFN no surprises there! Our FS was the rudest most arrogant person I had ever come across! After that experience decided to go to Monash. 19 eggs, no transfer as he didn't want to risk me getting OHSS again but out of 19, 16 fertilized and 8 made it to day 5 and 2 to day 6! Must say the whole experience has been so much more professional and comfortable and our FS is the sweetest thing. I have no regrets transferring to Monash at all. Hope things get better for you.

Shell you go girl those lines look amazing! Congratulations hun Will update you on the roll call!

JB Awesome news for you hun. not long now til you see your little bean or beans heartbeats on the screen! So happy for you

Dee I'm so sorry. Hope your next cycle is the one for you
