SoReady Thank you and I know what you mean about waiting for scans etc, I have to wait till Saturday for my 2nd scan to see how my follies are going

ok, im only taking folic acid and maintaining a healthy eating, I have slowed down on exercise as I don’t want to exert myself. Glad that in-between all the chaos you got a BFP

Rozzie1976 I haven’t read much into the acupuncture. As I am a IVF newbie, my 1st cycle. But im thinking of trying the brazil nuts and thank you for the socks tip, I usually like to wear socks esp during winter, but I will def be giving this a go aswell

Sparkle I really am so sorry. I haven't been able to eat anything all day so definitely know what your feeling. Good idea taking the day off. Nothing worse than trying to put on a brave face ( when people don't know) when your really gutted inside. Is this your first round ?

Since u gals r talking about acupuncture, my experience wasnt great. Thats before finding out DH has problem. I had have the most painful periods during that 3 months. Strange...they made it worse. I rarely get painful period. Bruises on the puncture site. I hate needles but gave it a try. I really didnt feel any different energy wise. I felt like wasted few thousands $ for nothing but made it worse. I wont recommend that specific clinic in perth. Now starting the ivf, very hesitate doing it again. Do u ladies feel any different? If in WA or syd cbd, would love to hear recommendation. Thanks.

Still have to catch up on thread.....

Hi girls - just thought I would give you an update

Spoke with the FS this morning and he said there is absolutely no reason not to go straight to FET! DF started cramping yesterday and thinks AF will arrive in the 48 hours so we will then call the clinic and start the new cycle!! FET should be in a few weeks! I have joined the December thread and hope to not see any of you there (meant in the nicest way possible of course). Good luck to you all and I look forward to reading about your BFP's

Two girls, one dream and baby you are it!

Dragonfly - so sorry hun I hope it isn't

Rainbowbabe - that's great news good luck hun and hopefully I won't see u on the Dec thread!

bbhope - sorry you had such a bad experience with acupuncture. I think it really depends on the individual, some people just aren't into it and then for me it has done absolute wonders. Also regulated my periods and improved the severity of cramps, which is what it should be doing. I would have tried another clinic if I was you they don't sound so good! If you spent a few thousand dollars they also sound a bit on the expensive side to me.

You should never be left with bruises where the needles go in and they should not hurt whilst in either.

It’s official, BFN for us today. Feeling a bit numb, I expected this result but there’s always that little bit of hope. Bloody clinic forgot to call me too so I had to chase them.

The only good thing is I can stop taking the Progesterone and start feeling normal again.

Vixjc – I read Mary Cousta’s book a few months ago, reading your stories it sounds very much like how she described her experience in Greece for IVF. I’ve got everything crossed it all works out for you as I think ICSI alone here in Melbourne cost a fortune, there's always a lot more riding on each cycle when you need to go overseas for it.

Big hugs to those of us who don’t get to join the ‘mummy’ group this month, and for those lucky to do so, good luck for the next few weeks, hope you all safely make it to 12 weeks.
