Stillfuntryin - thanks for the info, I steered clear of nurofen and took panadol

Chiefsgirl - I hope they are little fighters for you babe!!

Shell - taht is wonderful news on 5 at EPU. Good luck with transfer!!

Mrsfurbabies - I trigger (when the time is right) with Ovidrel. Did you notice any other major side effects other than sore boobs??

    JB - GO J & M!!!!!!!

Soready - that is great news I am sooo happy for you!!

AFM - I have been haing what feel like O pains / mild cramps and am petrified I am going to prior to needing to! I have been reading lots of women say they have had cramps or feeling as though they would ovulate but didn't and made it to egg pick up, is this normal?

I just got my morning BT results in and my E2 level is 1692, just where they want it to be she said. If it was over 2000 they would have dropped my does but am to continue on 300 of Gonal F til scan on Monday. Hurry up already next week!

@Rozzie1976 I think I might be at the same stage & timing as you... am up to my 6th Gonal-f injection tonight & having the 2 synarel sprays each day... (I'm the biggest sook, DH has to do my injections... he secretly likes being needed in all of this though)

Like you, I've had no side effects at all (Not that I'm complaining!!)... But I was a little anxious about getting my first blood test results back today as I was actually worried the drugs weren't having any desired effects... is there anybody out there who hasn't had any reactions to the drugs, but still gets good egg results??

The FN this afternoon said "you are doing really well, you're up around 600, so keep doing the same regime..." @rainbowbabe, thanks for the E2 information... I'm guessing this is what she's talking about when she says I'm up at 600??? I just said "oh that's great..." without asking what on earth she meant! what have other people's numbers been like after the 5th injection?

looking forward to my first ultrasound on Monday morning... the FN said if she had to guess, I'd be having EPU on 18/11... time will tell

thafamilygal - Heh hun. I am on my 7th gonal f injection tonight and tomorrow is my 5th Orgulatran. The injections haven't bothered me at all I have done them myself.

I the last 2 days have felt quite bloated / swollen in the tummy and generally quite "full" feeling. Hopefully a good sign things are growing!! Up til then I wasn't really feeling anything.

So I am a day ahead of you and my level this morning was 1692. My FN said they like it to be between 200 and 2000 (this is the E2 level I think). Seems like a big gap to me but anyway! So I am continuing on 300 of gonal f.

What does of gonal f are you on?

I too have my first scan Monday morning the same as you are. Wow EPU on 18/11 seems far away from the 1st scan? I was hoping they willl tell me to trigger next week some time followed by my EPU. I only have enough drugs also I think until next Thursday sp am hoping I get to trigger by then, guess will find out Monday! Good luck hun.

ahh yes, I'm one day behind you Rozzie1976 that makes sense

Hopefully I start getting some bloating or signs of lots of eggies growing in the next few days

I'm only on 150 gonal-f, as I had polycystic ovaries (not the syndrome) on an ultrasound a few months ago, so I guess they're keeping an eye on OHSS... perhaps that will extend my process a bit??

but yes, 18/11 feels like forever away, before I even get to dealing with the tww... I'm hoping for an EPU on 15/11, but they've given me spare packs of gonal-f in preparation, hopefully I don't need it

wow 200 - 2000 is a huge range!! at least my 600 falls somewhere in there

FS hasn't put me on the Orgalutran - is it normal for ppl to take this second injection?? I've heard I should treat the first cycle as a trial run for the FS to see how my body reacts to the hormones, fingers crossed he's got it right the first time around!!

yes, good luck for the exciting monday morning scan!

sorry to everyone else for not staying in touch, there seems to be a lot of us & its tough to keep up...
to everyone who has had a difficult few weeks, to everyone waiting and to everyone else who's still on their way xx

Familygal, if you are on the syranel you won't need Orgalutran, Orgalutran supresses ovulation like syranel, Rozzie won't be on the spray, I felt a lot happening down there the day before and the day of epu, I was terrified that the eggs would be gone but we need to put more faith in our specialists lol My E2 was pretty low 3 days before epu I think it was 2000 and my FS said that it is an indicator of how many eggs they will get, he said it would have risen over the weekend ( my epu was on a Monday) but we knew we wouldn't get heaps, I ended up with 6 mature eggs.
Soready I totally get why you wouldn't want to be on a regular due date forum, it wouldn't feel right, you have worked so hard for this and you shouldnt be made to feel like every other woman who is preggo! I'm glad your numbers are good

Shell - that's great about your eggs!! Hope they all fertilise for you beautifully hun. Can't wait for your update tomorrow!

Dragonfly & Thefamilygal - I have added you to the roll call

Lashed - how are you doing hun? Hope tomorrow brings you some good news!

JB - that's awesome!! Hoping that John & Mary are making themselves at home right now!!!

Soready - those numbers are great!!! Woah they are high! Lol

There's been a bit of talk about stimming and with DF (has PCO) they kept her on a low dose and almost ended up cancelling the cycle but we got 5 mature eggs, 4 fertilised and 3 very strong little ones! One that's onboard (please stick Seedy) and 2 top grade blasts (snowbabies).

Soooo... Even if it doesn't seem like your levels are right or your producing enough, once you get to the end and have a/some strong one/s that doesn't seem to matter anymore! Well it doesn't to us now

AFU - DF felt some dull stabbing pain in her uterus today. She said it was on/off every 20 min or so and has not felt that sort of thing before. She also said it wasn't a bad pain just noticeable. She is extremely rational and level headed so I took note of what she was saying. She looks at things very scientifically and not emotionally as well so I found it interesting to hear how she felt today. Again it could be completely coincidental and unrelated but interesting haha. She had a BT this morning and her E2 was 2783 and P4 was 50 so they don't want to increase her progesterone (P4) as apparently that's where it should be so we'll take their word on it Next BT is Monday to check levels again.

Two girls, one dream and baby you are it!

yes I agree with rainbowbabe - I also had high reserves so they thought possible PCO and high risk for OHSS. I was only on 112.5 dose of gonalf. They thought I would get 7 eggs, I only got three and was super disappointed at the time BUT I got my BFP and two frosties. So ladies, it really is quality over quantity. Try to put faith in your FS. to everyone stimming

I just wrote a huge post and lost it..argh!!!!

familygal - perhaps that is why you are on a lower dose hun? I'm not sure...I wouldn't be worried at all though about lack of symptoms, etc. Some people bloat etc day 1 of injection, some people feel quite sick, and others get no side effects etc at all. And no I don't have the spray as I am having an Orgalutran injection each morning to prevent ovulation.

As Soready says it is quality over quantity. Good luck to you hun, it is nice to have someone doing things around the same time as one another! Hopefully we get out BPF's really soon

Rainbowbabe - good luck with the next BT on Monday
