Sorry to hear Topaz, I was diagnosed 11 years ago with PCOS, it's not all bad and lots can be done to control it. Happy to answer any questions you may have. Also you can have PCO and not the syndrome or have full PCOS if that makes sense xx

Topaz I'm sorry you got this news. 20% of all women have it. You can release more than one egg a month, it's not that bad and can be managed.
    I have polycystic ovaries.

    Good luck :-)

Thanks Shell! Yeah I'm over it too. I got pregnant very easy last time so naively assumed it would be the same. I'm older now though and haven't been doing any formal exercise lately because I work full time and I drive a fair distance to work. My GP is keen for me to get checked out by the gyno ASAP but I'm a bit in denial. I have been charting and seem to be ovulating. Cycles are as regular as they ever were and we have timed BDing well. I figure it's only a matter of time. I will get checked out though but probably not until the new year. I don't get a lot of fertile CM so I'll be making more effort to use pre seed this month. Good luck to you! I hope it's your month x

Sorry to hear Hun. You aren't alone. I was diagnosed in 2010. Pco and pcos are different. Did you have bloods to confirm or just the scan? If you are having regular cycles and ovulating then you should be fine x I'm willing to chat anytime.

Welcome and it's good to see im not the only one trying with a little one. My DD is 13 1/2 months old and sometimes im catching myself thinking i must be crazy! Haha

Sorry to hear of people's af/spotting. Ive got af type pains this afternoon with a bad right side ovary area pain....if that makes sense.

In regards to luteal phase, i have a 12 day lp, so my egg has to plant itself in quickly.
Hi ladies - my little man is 14 months, and we are trying for #2. Crazy could well be the word for it!

Pretty sure I ovulated on fri, slight spotting Sunday and again today. Anyone else had this? Can ovulation spotting go over a few days?

Glad to hear you have some great support. And yes, that's what PCOS is when ttc - a bump in the road. Things may take a little longer and sometimes need a little helping hand, but most people with PCOS end up with children. We had help with our first, then conceived naturally after that several times until this year when we had a little help again just to make sure egg quality was good.

There are lots of women on here, including myself with the condition, so ask all sorts of questions.

Hopefully it's just pco not pcos. Just curious, how many cysts did u have on each ovary. There are a few pcos threads on here that can be helpful. I think it's really positive that u ovulated last cycle. X

From what I know, the cysts from pcos are follicles that don't develop and release.
