Does having a short leuteal phase make a difference to a long leuteal phase? I haven't charted much at all, so I'm just curious. I only have ever charted my AF

If I get AF soon I'll go to doc and see if I can get my LP lengthened some how.
If u wanted to lengthen it with herbal a naturopath can
I take tribulous , polyfem and chastree to keep my lp within range - 6 cycles if exactly 14-17 lp length

I'm the same as Tugs. Spotting this morn, now beginning of AF me thinks. 9dpo, cd26. I'll wait for some more definitive bleeding before declaring AF has arrived, but I'm fairly certain I'm out. Ah well. 26day cycle means I'm still in for the month.. Put me down for somewhere at the end of Dec haha.

The shorter your LP is, the less chance your egg has of implanting. Just think if your egg gets his spermie and starts his little journey. Half way there AF comes and washes him out. With the short LP you've lost him, with the long LP he made it to uterus and buried in with time to spare :-)

12 dpo will give you a more accurate result but some do get results from 9 dpo but most of us poas addicts start at 7 dpo anyway lol

Welcome and it's good to see im not the only one trying with a little one. My DD is 13 1/2 months old and sometimes im catching myself thinking i must be crazy! Haha

Sorry to hear of people's af/spotting. Ive got af type pains this afternoon with a bad right side ovary area pain....if that makes sense.

In regards to luteal phase, i have a 12 day lp, so my egg has to plant itself in quickly.
