Default Endometrial Biopsy / Endometrial Scratch

    Hey ladies,
Getting an endo biopsy in a week or so and would like to know if anyone has had one and if it hurt?

We have had two failed cycles, one fresh and one frozen. So this is going to be done before we start another cycle, which unfortunately will be a full antagonist cycle! (I hate needles)

    Thanks 😊

Hi mrsmac I had a scratch done last week. I found that not any worse than a Pap smear a little uncomfortable but that's it. The biopsy was a different matter. My FS said my womb was 'a bit tight' which happens with people who haven't had any children. She tried a few times to get it but didn't happen. That was the most painful bit. Felt like bad period pain. Take some panadol with you and have it before or after it if you think you will need it. Good luck!

    Hi Mrsmac,

I replied on a similar thread not too long ago, link here: http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...e-implantation

Good luck with the scratch and your next cycle

I booked in for mine yesterday, at this stage if AF plays nice it is for the 22nd November before my third full cycle!! A friend had it done prior to a FET and said it was ok :-)

Thanks ladies! Yes I have not had kids or anything so imagine it may be a bit tight. I get the date today because I have no natural cycle I needed hormones to create one for the biopsy! Thanks again πŸ˜„

I had a scratch done two weeks ago, for me it was a bit uncomfortable, a bit like bad period pain, but it was over in a few minutes and I took panadeine afterwards. My AF came 2 days earlier than expected and was quite painful, I was told this was normal after having a scratch done.

    Good luck.
