This my German shepherd puppy Jaxon. He was about 10 weeks old in this pic. He is now much bigger and 8 months old but I don't have a recent pic on the computer.

Those with snakes - ok even typing this I feel queeeeezy as I have a HUGE snake fear.

So do these snakes just roam around the house??????

Are you not scared they ll turn on you??

    Do they interact?

Oh gosh imagine I came to visit you guys. Seeing a snake in your living room loose would kill me instantly my heart would not cope I tell you.

    So I have two snakes..
No they are not loose in our house. We have two 8ft enclosures. They are 3ft tall and 2ft wide.

They like being held when we let them out!

I know our snakes and know they wouldnt hurt us. But I have them locked up! We let out big boy roam the lounge room if we are at home sometimes but not often! He doesn't need it. The tank is more than enough space for him!

Any other questions I'm happy to answer.
They really are fabulous pets. Very clean, dont need to feed often.

You feed them once a fortnight and they go to the toilet once after that!
Its like a dog poo I guess. Just harder! And they do 3.. one bones, one fur and one the rest! Just scope it out and it's all done.. there is kitty litter pellets at the bottom of the enclosures.
I dont have kids yet, we are ttc #1.
I have friends bring their kids round to hold them etc.
