Default Sperm Analysis - How? Where? Cost?

We are thinking about having my DH sperm looked at. Checking for motility, count etc. I wanted to know how we would go about this.
Do you see a FS? Can you do it via a GP? Where do you go to deliver the sample? What's the average cost?

DHs first & second SA - referral from my OB/GYN, test done at the fertility clinic (you can do it at home and drop it off within an hour or use one of their rooms)
Subsequent SAs - referral from our FS and done at our clinic.
I don't really see why a GP couldn't refer your DH for an SA.
I don't remember the cost but fairly sure you can claim some back on Medicare.

Free if you get a referral from gp and take it directly to place of testing- usually public hospital

We got our referral from GP and went to IVFAustralia, it cost $145 but you get money back from Medicare

Thanks everyone! If we don't have any luck this month, I think we'll have this checked.
