Sorry, no idea, but you could ask a pharmacist at the chemist maybe?

Hi kvp, just popping in after seeing your question on uti. I'm due on the 30/6 so just miss out on being in this thread.
I just had a uti a few weeks ago and I needed to get antibiotics. Go see a doctor and get a urine test done to check what bacteria is there. A uti can be bad if left too long it gets into the kidneys. I thought I had thrush so the doc recommended the thrush cream not the pessary. I didn't end up needing it.
Don't take ural. I read it's not to be used in pregnancy. Hope that helps.
Also once it's cleared drink cranberry juice and take inner health plus. It helps keep everything down there a bit healthier.
    X

@Riss78 thanks for the help! I was trying to wait until Friday for my appointment but I think I might just have to see dr today. Pretty sure it's been lingering for about a week now and it's starting to get worse. It's hard to tell what's what because I'm using creams from the IVF down there still and at times I wonder is it a reaction to that is it just that cream cOming out. It feels like I'm constantly calling the IVF clinic with questions but I guess that's why you pay so much money. Thanks heaps! X

Mellow nice to see you in here what's your due date?

Welcome to MrsErinR and Lizlh - nice to see success stories (even double trouble!) from low HCG... it just goes to show you never know what is going to happen in the world of IVF!! How many DPO were you both when you had your first BT?

Emski I am so sorry... life can be very cruel sometimes... sending you all the luck in the world for your next cycle xx

Good luck today Loco... can't wait to hear how your scan went!!

Soready yes I am with Lynn also Did you already have an OB or go with one of her recommendations or someone else?

AFM Have also been experiencing slight nausea before eating then once I eat I feel much better - so strange! And it's only certain foods I will/can eat. Had 2 naps for an hour yesterday one at 9.30am and then again at 3pm... not sure if I really needed them or was just being lazy as I had a day off but then I still slept 9hours last night. 6 weeks tomorrow and 3rd BT on friday...

No problem yeah I think my irritation was from the progesterone pessaries so I switched to using it rectally. Not the most ideal thing to do but it's less messy hehe
If it's getting worse it's best to get it checked out. A dose of antibiotics is safe and will help. Good luck

While I'm here I will say a big hi to all the girls I cycled with in sept/oct. Glad to see all is going well. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancies. x

Jb2011 my first BT was 14 dpo. However, interestingly the babies are measuring 5 days small which the sonographer said is not uncommon with IVF babies. So common that they usually use the day of transfer (I had a 5d blast transfered) as the date of conception.

Jb2011, I had seen another OB with a previous (failed) pregnancy. This time I have gone with Lynsey recommendation which was Emily Olive. On her website it says she specialises in high risk and she is based at st Vincent's. It turns out she is in rotation with my last OB anyway. I see her on the 9th for the first time. Have you chosen anyone yet? Have you chosen which hospital?
