    Default Play shoes???

What do your toddlers wear on their feet playing outside in summer? I am having so much trouble finding beach style sandals for DS. He still falls over a lot so I wanted ones with closed in toes like this

bit they all seem to start at size 7. He is only a 5-6. I don't like thongs on toddlers. So what else can I get for outside play.

What about vans slip ons (or similar)? They're so easy to get on and off and nice and light weight.

I love saltwater sandals (they are unisex) although they don't have closed in toes. They can get wet though.

What about these for the closed in toe?

The sizes are slightly different to normal so you will have to measure your LOs foot.

DD wore these Clarks ones. Open at the toes but protect enough from thicker sole and sides....and easy to scrub clean Attachment 45178

    Do you mean this style?

Not too sweaty/smelly in summer? No socks?

Ditto - Airflex were great - lightweight and closed in toes - I got two pairs last year from Betts (I'm in WA so not sure if that's in other states) - I've seen similar again this year.
