    We just walk out.

    We wash dishes and empty the bin though .

    It's tidy before we leave but I don't do a massive clean or anything, just the usual dishes/washing done, clean kitchen, tidy lounge room and make sure the bin is out.

    Super smart! That should be factored into holiday budget! I budget my car being cleaned upon the return of a holiday (a road trip type holiday anyway).

    I mainly worry about things like dirty dishes, put bins out, compost, fruit bowl empty, empty fridge of foods that will go bad, tip out any water sources outside etc... Doesn't worry me too much about beds/floors etc, but we generally live pretty clean and tidy everyday anyhow...
