Subbing. Were TTC our first baby and our group of friends are wanting to do a holiday but don't know of concerns of going to Thailand while pregnant?

Hi I have been to Thailand and just returned from Bali. I was really anxious and to be honest, I'm not sure that I'd go pregnant again. But all we've fine for me. Was very careful not to eat salad and made sure everything was piping hot. If you tell them you're pregnant then they seem to really care and be extra careful. My Doctor told me that Bali Belly is not likely to affect the baby as long as you stay hydrated. I went to the pharmacy prior to going and got some traveller sickness tablets (which I didn't end up taking, but took with me just in case!) and Hydrolite. The doctors said to take the usual precautions that you'd take to avoid listeria. I also took heaps of antiseptic hand gel. I hope this helps....
