I don't like human names for pets. I came across a sausage dog called Blanket the other day and quite like food names for dogs - we had a jack russell called Spud and little yorkie called Peanut.

I think of names like Conan and Bruce as dog names.

I want to call this bub Toby but that's our cats name so I can't!

Dogs we have had include Ben max Burt Rodger wendel (after wendel sayler) kel (was given to us by someone with last name Kelly) jo jules hank rusty (fil's nickname for the person that gave it to us)
We have to have normalish names otherwise fil (all working dogs) can't pronounce them! Wendel has been called wondel, brendal, brondal etc but never wendel!
We have also had cane boxer patch nugget rocky. Cats have been MJ (my cat that is black and white- Michael Jackson) neyentay (not spelt that way but it's French or something for 'nothing') whiptail jet Kelly Tom (male ginger, big surprise there!)missy (short for mischief)
