Our beagle x husky is Tasha, but that wasn't the name we had chosen for her.. it suits her though.

Her best dog mate is Simon. That totally doesnt seem like a dog name to me!

Jasper was on our boys list and its a reasonably common dog name.

    Dog - Riley
Cats - Maddie and Tilly (we no longer have Tilly)
Guinea pigs - Hush and Lilly
Siamese fighting fish - Snow White (who we also don't have anymore).

If we hadn't used the above names on our dog/cat fur babies, me probably would have had their names or the longer versions on our short lists for our babies!

We have Bonnie (jack Russell x) and Clyde (tabby). Clyde came with his name, and Bonnie's original name was Floss (both rescue animals). I couldn't stand Floss and couldn't help myself with Bonnie! I know a few human Bonnies but no Clydes.

Other animals we have had or our families have are Missy, Jess, Diva, Buddy, Casper, Sibil.

ETA: when I decided on my DS1's name, Mum kept trying to get me to change my mind by telling me that my Aunty had a budgie once with the same name.

My first dog I had when I was a kid was called Holly.

The one and only cat we owned was called Podgy. He was the best cat ever. No cat comes close. In fact, he's the only cat I've ever really liked.

Lol! I've never come across an animal with my name... And you've also got my DS1's name in there too!
