I was once walking up the driveway to a friends party and a pair of knickers fell out the leg of my jeans I was wearing ... Epic fail!!!

DH always wanted a homemade lemon cheesecake (like his mother used to make) for his birthday - and it required three days in the fridge before serving. One year, I couldn't understand why it seemed so much smaller than other years - until I served it and tasted how sour it was; I had forgotten to add the condensed milk.

And I couldn't even make a replacement because I didn't have three days.

I've had that happen, but I found them when I went to the toilet at a friends house and I had to smuggle them out tucked into my hand until I got to my bag in the lounge room.

My dad used to be in the RFS and went to one of their weekly meetings with one of my knee high stockings stuck to the shoulder of his jacket; mum had out both in the dryer so we think that's where it happened. He didn't realize until he went to the bathroom at the end of the night and looked in the mirror :-D

I have many lol. There's not much I won't try, and very little I'm good at so most of what I do turns out to be a failure. I tried water skiing which was incredibly fun, however I did spend more time being fetched out of the water and helped back into an upright position than actually skiing. Cooking is another one, I love to experiment in the kitchen, however tend to stick with very basic dishes for family meals since it very often would lead to having to rush out for take-out at the last minute due to the food being inedible. I'm learning to knit. Let's just say it's been interesting, lots of things purchased, lots of things attempted, nothing that resembles anything so far.

If it makes you feel any better Mothersmilk my DH called me from the ED to ask our DD's DOB... Then called back 10 mins later to ask again as he had forgotten already. The triage nurse asked if he was actually her father!

One of our daughters was born at 1:0n pm on (n+1)th day of the nth month of 199n.

Her father still wishes her happy birthday on the day before her actual birthday, and every year she corrects him that he is a day early.
