Calstar - Love the name Barney 😊
Has been DHs nickname since primary school.

Nomie - my fur babies are westies. Mr Darcy (the bigger one) was a rescue pup and Shelby we took from a breeder as they thought she wasn't show quality (some people who breed dogs are just awful). I have a gorgeous photo of Darcy drinking from a bottle as he needed to be bottle fed in the early days- will try and find it and post.

SJK - Congrats on the little mister. Can't believe we have so many boys on here.

Were you ladies who are expecting boys dtd on ovulation day and after ? Is there any truth to this theory?

Trio - so glad you got to hear heartbeat 💗💗💗

Funchu - any sign of AF?
Good on you for indulging at your Christmas party - why not I say.
We are in same boat re IVF. We are only going to do 2 -3 rounds max. Neither of us want to get ourselves too far in debt, particularly if you do several rounds and none of them are successful. It's also very taxing on your body apparently.

Interesting news about placenta health shadow. I agree with you a home made salad has to be better.

Finally some gorgeous weather in Melb - about bloody time !!!

I agree Shadow...no doubt diet would effect health of the placenta but who knows how much? If you don't get enough nutrients it would have some detrimental effect I imagine. There's not much research done on it though - except for widely known stuff like folate. I've taken a similar approach - much better a salad than something fatty/salty!

@miss v we dtd two days before, the day of and the two days after from memory. My mum thinks we're having a boy because we timed dtd too well! Haha...looks like I'm going to have lots of boys because I can't resist my DH on o day.

@Calstar - I sometimes have side dishes for dinner at restaurants too. Yummo.

No sign of AF, but I might be only 12-14dpo, so the b¡t¢h could arrive any time between now & Wednesday. If she's not here by next Sunday I'll test again. If that happens it had better be a BFP & not a rubbish cycle like my last one!!!

    Fingers grossed for you funchu.

Sounds like a good week calstar. I feel like letting loose, so much going on at the moment. Work is crazy and I'm applying for rentals.

Cd15 today. I might have o'd last night as I had a big temp dip this morning but dp is being a pain and there has been NO bd all cycle. It's killing me.

This morning while I was going through papers I found a slip telling me I was due for a Pap smear 3 months ago... Whoops. Guess I better book that in. Maybe they will be a decent gp and help with ttc. I'm still waiting to hear back about my gynae appointment! Been waiting 3 months.
