    He plays for Melbourne Jets this season...it's his first season playing in Oz, so has to start somewhere.

    He used to play professionally for Great Britain. And then he hurt his knee! Ouch!

    Me & DH used to go and watch ice hockey every week when we lived in England. But not anymore as Adelaide's ice rink is pretty ropey!

    Wow! A very good player then! We know those teams! Our local team was the Chelmsford Chieftains (your DH would probably know them) They're in the Southern section of the same league as Manchester Storm.
    So they wouldn't have played each other but still! Would be funny if they had and I'd actually seen your DH play!

    Is DH from Northern England then? My sister actually lives near Manchester & we have family in Liverpool too.

    He says he knows some people from Chelmsford team...!

    I think you should def come to Melbourne sometime for a visit and a game! Lol
