For us, the infertility was on my part and DH did really well not to let me see him upset, but then I found him a couple of times laying in bed crying - for me, I wished he was more open about what he was feeling, but it also hit home how much it was affecting him too.

I'm a little reserved on giving my opinion. If you want it, ask, otherwise I will keep it to myself!

With your question about IVF - they would also do a full bloods work up on yourself and possibly a laparoscopy (depending on fs) prior to make sure there aren't any roadblocks on your side. Usually there is some counselling prior. In reality it may only take 3 months, but would depend on when there was an availability to get in to the specialist.

Edit: I guess it's not really an opinion I was going to give, but just an idea - perhaps you and DH could set a period of time in which you are happy to ttc naturally before considering IVF (could be 6months or 5 years). Or alternatively, depending on how DH is feeling, you may make an appt with specialist, but then have the option of cancelling the appt beforehand depending on how long it takes to get in. It depends on whether you want some thinking time. I'm really hoping you can fall naturally soon. What did the doctor recommend? Did they give any indication?
    Thanks LT.
I think we'll go ahead with getting the referral, and just keep trying until we get an appointment. I know just getting an appointment can take some time, so wouldn't expect to get one until end of January at the earliest.
I'm holding out hope for January because if the psychic reading. That might be a bizarre way of thinking but I've got to grasp on to something.

I think I answered any questions people had.
I just wanted to say thank you ladies! I really don't know what I'd do without my great BH support network :-)

I am currently feeling like death! Had a girls night/slumber party at a GFs last night. It was good but we didn't get to bed until 1am and her son fell out of bed at 4am which woke us up. It was also crazy hot! I've never been so hot! So I am pooped now & maybe a tad hungover from some pink bubbles I had.
At 2dpo it's not too naughty to have a few drinkies is it?
Went to a craft/handmade market this morning. It was great, but the others wanted to get to somewhere else so I felt super rushed & didn't get to see everything properly! It was kid, baby & pregnancy central though so did find myself getting a bit upset as it was so in my face.
Had a great German lunch in Hahndorf, bought some Balinese harem pants (so comfy) then went home.
Was great to get back to DH. Even after 9 years together, and him driving me crazy sometimes, whenever I'm not with him I miss me heaps.

What's everyone else up to this weekend?

    Hugs for all xox

    Calstar - xx

I only stopped drinking when I got my bfp - at 8dpo. I figure that ttc was so stressful I wouldn't remove alcohol from the mix until we got a pos. maybe not the best move, but it was ours

Don't overdo it Kazza! At least it's not too hot for all of this rushing around! We were at Marion on Thursday night.
I work in Fullarton! Haven't been to that market though. The one we went to today was the Penny Lane Market in Mount Barker. Not sure when the next one is but you should go, they've got lots of lil bits for girlie bubs
I find it funny...we could have walked past each other at some point in time, but had no idea it was us! Lol

I am incredibly positive about the new year.
If only as I've already booked some stuff into our diaries. Soundwave in March for one, Sod's law says I'm utd and suffering MS and can't go!
    Beautiful beautiful Sod's law hehe

Because i'd had no thoughts id get a bfp when i did as I was very negative that month i drank a bottle of wine to myself earlier that week. If i hadnt randomly tested before going to see Pink would have drunk a few vodkas that night instead just drank coke saying i was too tired.
