That was gold! I'd do a foot selfie, but I'm lying in bed with ds sleeping next to me about to have a nap. My feet are all tucked up.

Shadow, I think your dh's reaction would be pretty normal. Don't men think they are invincible? It was probably just the shock of it. Does not make it any easier to hear especially with what you have just been through. I am so glad he has come around.

Nomie how are you? Did af start properly? Your scan is tomorrow isn't it? I hope it helps you figure everything out.

Funchu I was hoping to log on this morning to a pos test from you finally. I hope you are okay. My fingers are still crossed!

Calstar, I have a retro uterus. So does mum. Do you know if your mum is bicornate too?

Jessy has the morning sickness finally eased for you? Have you told your dd about a new brother or sister yet? I bet she is excited.

Afm, I had my doctors appointment last Friday. All good. He would like to send me for a scan at 8 weeks to check dates and viability, so that's okay. Does anyone know how much that costs? I've only ever done nt and morphology. I'm guessing about the same?

Cubby is nearly done. Roof and walks are done, just need to work on the climbing wall to get up into it. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1383529694.685501.jpg
I need a more up to date photo, that one is from last weekend.

I think my in laws have guessed we are pregnant. I 'missed' the race because ds slept in and didn't wake us all up. Mil is very suspicious. Oh we'll they can wonder till we announce. If everything is good at our 8 week scan we will tell our parents when we all meet up at the coast in a couple of weeks. I can't wait to go on holiday! Sun and sea here we come !

I've got no idea, she's never mentioned it before.
She doesn't actually know we're ttc. I love her to bits, but she can be so intense at times, I just can't stand the pressure that I know will exist if she knew

I'm actually hoping to keep it quiet until 16 weeks (when I'm utd obviously!)
    How that'll work I don't know.
Easier when all our family's in the UK that's for sure!

My mum was told once it was confirmed by blood test with my mc.. (naively I hadn't considered the possibility of a mc! I was pregnant...woohooo!) Mil still to this day has no idea.

Mum knew the day of my bfp with ds. mil was told at 16wks, even though I didn't have a belly, but figured we would get busted going to the obgun at some stage.

Well our fam is interstate, and we are going home over Xmas so if we are utd then we will say then, regardless of how far along. Will be worth it to do it in person, and they will be my support network if anything goes wrong anyway so that's fine.
If I'm utd right now (touch wood, fingers crossed) then I will be 11 weeks by then anyway so actually later than planned.

Trio, our first dating scan was done just at a radiology place, and was $150, but I think we got all, or most of it back through Medicare (I think that's right anyways).

And Calstar, 18 weeks today here and I can count the people we've told (apart from family) I'm utd on two hands... So it's very possible to do!!

Trio, AF did indeed start properly. Scan was meant to be today but AF is still here at cd7 with no signs of leaving anytime soon, so I asked for the scan to be moved to next Monday.
Good to hear your appointment went well. Love the cubby house so far!

I also wouldn't tell my MIL until 12 weeks if I could help it. DH's side of the family love to gossip and can't keep a secret. Pity.
