    Its so tough to get any support in a main****** school. My 7yr old is in yr 1 in a main****** school (qld). She has half her day at the seu (special education unit) and half in the main****** room. She does ok at school (emotionally. Academically its just miserable) but loses it at home constantly so i know things arent ok for her.

    To get aide time, or ANYTHING for these kids your going to have to go in with the knowledge that your going to have to push for it. You need to outline in black and white what you want and why you want it, and be prepared to stand up for yourself.
