Default Chocolate cake made on hazelnut meal? Recipes please!!

I want to make a nice rich chocolate cake for a dinner party on the weekend, and I'm googling recipes for chocolate torte made on hazelnut meal but can't find a simple sounding one with great reviews. I prefer hazelnut meal to almond meal - almond meal has that marzipan taste I don't like :/
    Suggestions? Recipes? Please?

Try a chocolate hazelnut flourless cake. Don't have a recipe with me but I'm sure Google would have some rippers!!

I did a flourless the other week using almond meal - you'll have to let me know how the hazelnut one goes - I think it would be nicer than the almond meal one, but maybe I'm just thinking nutella!

Cooked mine in a water bath and it helped to keep the edges from drying out. It was lovely and moist, but it was quite low in fat and added sugar (besides the dark choc), so you might be after one of the normal recipes that might please more people. Ours tasted great served with fresh cream and strawberries (but I dissed the cream - don't like cream). Sprinkled it with drinking choc to serve.

There is an awesome one in nigella a book how to be a domestic goddess. It uses eggs, hazelnut meal, Nutella, butter, sugar and dark chocolate. It has a recipe for ganache too but I just frost with Nutella

Ok WOW Sandra. That looks amazing!!! Now to decide between the taste.com and nigella. I'm thinking nigella. Because she's gorgeous. Ha ha. Water bath is a good tip!
