    Default Weight gain

    Hello,

Just wondering how much weight everyone gained in their third trimester? Did you put on the most then or did you Gain weight evenly over the whole of your pregnancy?

    TIA

I put on the most weight then definitely, I only started to show late as it was my first. I gained about 5 kg in the 3rd trimester (I'm quite short, only 5"1).

I haven't put on much so far so I'm assuming I'll put a lot on in the next 11 weeks.

I'm only 32 weeks but have gained weight as follows:

    1kg by 17 weeks
    3kg by 22 weeks
    6kg by 28 weeks
    7.5 by 32 weeks

My weight gain is really speeding up! But that's ok, as I want to reach the minimum healthy range by my due date.

I had a fairly steady slow weight gain at the beginning and then a faster weight gain through second half to trimester 2 and first half of trimester 3. Weight gain has been very marginal since week 34 but I am on track to gain in total almost 20kg. Still technically within "healthy" BMI but just barely.

I'm 37+ 1 and I've gained 7.5kg so far. Only about 1 kg so far in third tri- definitely put most of it on in the second
