Yeap its about that. I cant give exact figures but when i lost hours, i was thankful centrelink boosted me up basically. I still get quite a decent amount even though i earn a bit more than that a fortnight. FTB i get less coz i only have 1 child.

Sounds about right, I earn $1730 gross per fortnight and get about $300 in FTB & PPS

I'm a small business owner so my rates are slightly different seeing as I have rent for the premises & need to pay my own super etc, as in, on paper it looks like I earn A LOT, but in reality I take home less then half of the earnings (which works out to be approx the same amount as you earn p/fn)

I get 400 p/fn Single parent payment, one of the family tax benefits is about the same, the other I don't know as I get it at tax time in a lump sum.

I'd wait till to sign for the car though, maybe hirer in the mean time? You may be entitled to more or less depending on your circumstances.

Yep, sounds right. You will need to earn more than that to lose all your pps entitlement.
