    Default Bleeding while on Implanon?

I've been using implanon for 4 years now, I had it in for 3 years then got it replaced a year ago. I've never had spotting both times at all apart from the first month after having it inserted. But the last couple of days I've had very light spotting and pain in (my right) side of my uterus. I'm hoping its somehow NOT implantation bleeding & pain, someone please reassure me that its impossible and that my body is just acting confused!

I have had the implanon on and off for about 10 years only out when TTC and pregnant and straight back in at 6 weeks PP). During that time I have never had any bleeding at all. This last year since I got it put in after having DD I have had week about bleeding (one week bleeding, one week not bleeding). So, yes it is possible your body is just doing something random.

I had it in for 2.5 years and then had spotting for 3 months straight. Dr said it could be It not working properly and it needed to be taken out (the same thing happened after a couple of years on the pill) my body doesnt work well with hormonal contraception. Hope you figure it out! Speak to dr asap if you want to avoid getting pregnant at the moment
