Bao- I'm sorry to hear that hun hope AF comes around quickly for you so you can get on with clomid.
Galea- hope the FET went well today!! fingers crossed for you
    Nezz- great results hun!!
Missalina- i think they are just trying to prevent you getting OHSS hopefully you don't overstim given they are dropping your FSH.
Bel- yay for getting going on your stimulation!
Bettie- welcome, I can't add any experience on either but I read in a recent article online about endometrial scratching and that it is supposed to improve implantation, so hopefully it works for you! Melatonin is a hormone your brain normally produces to help regulate sleep not sure it's use in the context of IVF??
MrsFurbabies- glad AF finally appeared! It's so frustrating when it's late, you wait around enough as it is!

AFM- had my fresh transfer today went well, so I had 5 good blastocysts, they did a single transfer of one of the best and the FS said it was already hatching! She said that is very good, so hopefully its a good sign. They had indicated this morning they would freeze the remaining 4 embies, but then when I got there they said they would give me another update as to how many frosties I had, so still waiting, they haven't called back so I might call them tomorrow.

@rj85 fingers crossed on your transfer today.
@miissalina ohss is horrible. I was bed bound for 3 weeks. It hurts to move and to pee. You have to sleep sitting up and drink loads of water. Its honestly not worth it. Even though it sucks. I dont want it again thats for sure.

Thanks everyone for your well wishes. I had acupuncture and was super relaxed. The transfer was fine apart from my insides hiding from the ultrasound. Its amazing how emotional one white dot can make you feel. My husband came with me and we both had a bit of a teary moment. Had lunch together in kings park and then came home and I have been asleep all day. A bit crampy but nothing major. Fingers crossed...toes crossed....everything crossed.

Great news RJ, strong blasty and some in the freezer! Hope it's a lovely sticky one.
Missalina, also ask nurses about coasting where you skip a day or two meds to settle down but cycle doesn't have to be cancelled. It may just go to a freeze all which is still a good result. Best of luck for the next few days x
AFM already getting strong headaches from the Gonal F, hopefully they don't worsen!

Good luck RJ and galea hope they are sticky ones FX!

Missalina yes I would agree with everyone else sorry to say but you are prob heading towards ohss I had it on my first cycle where my oestrogen was 17000! The didn't cancel and they went ahead with the transfer and I was so sick had to take weeks off work and couldn't lay down either otherwise the fluid would go into my lungs the only positive thing was I ended up with my beautiful DD.

AFM CD 13 loads and loads of follies feeling really uncomfortable only had about 2 on each side over 18 which they consider to be mature with my lead follicle being 20. I had heaps around 16/17 and plenty around 11/13 and lots more small my oestrogen came back at 8000 so they were happy for me to do my trigger tonight so that's done and now I just hope we get some good eggs at EPU on Friday morning.

AFM still having blood tests to determine when I'm ovulating. LH is rising but I have to go back again on Friday to check again.Hopefully something more will be happening then so we can get our ice ice baby warmed up and transferred soon! <img src="images/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Smile" smilieid="1" class="inlineimg"

@Bettie, re the endo scratch - I've had it twice now, once before my second IVF and once last week (heading into my third IVF). The statistics are really excellent - it can double implantation rates - and it doesn't hurt all that much. Well, it stings like a b*stard for about ten seconds and then it's over. I would do it again, even though I didn't get a BFP after my second IVF (I did get a chemical, which is more than I'd had before).

AFM, starting Gonal-F tonight after two days on Buserelin. And my mother asked yesterday if I was pregnant because I'd "packed on the pounds" - no, it's just fat from the medication, sorry Mum.

    Hello Ladies!!!!

Well, have a very positive day yesterday at our first appointments.. So relieved that they have finally come and gone and not waiting any longer.

I absolutely LOVe the clinic. Everyone was just so genuinely lovely and knew who you were by name.

    Game plan is:
    1. 18/1 - Start Norimin (pill) - (assuming AF arrives by Sat - else will all move back a week)
    2. 04/2 - Start Synarel
    3. 07/2 - Last Pill
    4. 13/2 - Start FSH Injections
    5. 21/2 - First Ultrasound to check how follies are going
    6. 24/2 - Estimated EPU
    7. 01/3 - Estimated ET
    8. 09/3 - Estimated Blood Test
that my body flows like textbook!!!
