@rose2207 That's great news and sounds like a great plan, still coughing away, but getting better slowly

@Rarah11 I do hope you get a nice surprise in BT day, big hugs

@Amandale1727 Welcome and fingers crossed first time lucky also the ladies on the thread are very helpful too. I'm only taking folic acid. I have started the new year with a health plan to drop a few kilos to help me with IVF, not doing anything major just eating healthy and exercising. Although for the past few days I haven't been doing to well as I have been sick with a bad cough, it's getting a lil better.

@Ladydee Welcome and hope it all goes well next week . So sorry to hear of your loss, big hugs. I have not tried acupuncture, but I'm very intrigued by it. Have been thinking of doing it in the near future if need be.

@Galea Yay, very exciting, good luck for Wednesday

@Wishnhope Hope the next two weeks go quick for you

@Sparklemonkey that's great new, good luck and are you doing a HRT FET cycle or natural??

AFM: still coughing grrr, getting a lil better slowly. I hope it goes away before next week. We are having a heat wave this weekend and it's going to be 44 degrees, but I really want to go swimming and can't as I'm antibiotics. Haven't been exercising while sick. Will be restarting on Monday... Hopefully. Got good news from my dietician, since I last saw her last year I have lost 5kg whoa, I didn't even know as I wasn't even trying and ate loads over Xmas. Still got 9kg till goal weight. I'm trying really hard this year ladies. Sorry about talking so much about my weight on here. I just know if I can lose some it will help me loads when I doing IVF, inside and out.

Hi Everyone! I am about to start my first round of IVF - I picked up all the needles from the clinic a few days ago and they've been sitting in the fridge while I prayed that our last round of clomid would work and I could take the needles back, but unfortunately it wasn't to be and AF arrived today. First needle will be on Tuesday... scary!

    @miissalina

    Hi

I had uncomfortable ovary pain for my 2 weeks and I felt so bloated and fat. I could hardly walk and hardly sit down. It is normal but feel free to call your clinic... you are paying for their advice so you should use it

Goodluck to all the ladies who have started cycling....can't wait to read about all of the BFP's as they start rolling in

Baby girl - hope you feel better soon. I'm also trying to eat super healthy and would love to lose about 5kg's in the next few weeks. I was reading up about the 5:2 diet and am very roughly trying to do something like that. Trying to do 2 to 3 days a week of low calories by having a big, raw salad with either tuna, a little bit of low-fat cheese or chicken for lunch and dinner and a low cal breakfast cereal and a small dollop of yoghurt and some fruit for a snack. Then just trying to eat as well as possible on the other days.....I find it SO hard to lose weight with PCOS but, we'll see how I go. I joined a mum&bubs running group mid last year to try and shift some weight but ended up getting stress fractures in both of my knees! Who ever said exercise was good for you?! Goodluck to you and please share any pointers if you manage to shift a couple of kg 's, I need all the tips I can get

Bayside - wow, that's a great break! Are you a teacher? Hope you managed to squeeze in a lot of relax- time I've got my appointment this Thursday also, feels good to get started again....hopefully for the last time huh?! Good luck

Phee - sorry to read your last Clomid cycle didn't work out but I hope you get your BFP this time around with beginners luck

Miisalina - I'm no help as I'm about to begin my first cycle of IVF but eeek! That doesn't sound like fun! I hope it doesn't get any/much worse for you but hopefully it just means that everything is working like it should....wishing you the best of luck

Galea - did you find you were able to keep working throughout your stim cycle/s? Wishing you the very best of sticky luck for Wednesday

AFM - nothing much new, counting down the days/minutes to my first IVF appointment with my clinic on Thurs. No sign of AF....my research into "Dr Google" has revealed that AF can take its time a little after a m/c so I hope that isn't the case or I'll go a little batty

A question for the ladies who have stimmed before ..... Did you take anytime off work during any part of your cycle? I've got a pretty fast paced, stressful , on your feet all day kind of job so I'm not sure if that will affect things or not?

    Hi all,

Just want to say how grateful I am for finding you all on this forum as I finally feel like I'm not alone. Hoping I can join?

I stimmed in Oct, transfer canceled due to ohss, spent a week in hospital. Had a FET (med) in Dec, and was BFN. My next FET (med) will be next week? (See my doc on Wed).

Baby girl you asked about how hrt fets work? Mine consisted of HRT (progynova) 6mg/day (dose varies per person) from day 3, scan 10 days later to check lining, continued hrt, then crinone on day 17, then fet on day 22. You take 3 days of crinone prior to tranfer if it is a 3 day embryo or 5 days of crinone if it's a 5 day blastocyst.

    Wishing you all BFP!!! Xxx

Quick question... To the unfortunately experienced ladies... With my first appt this Wednesday, and AF due between then and Friday, what are my chances of being able to start stimming this cycle???? Do they usually perform all the pre-cycle tests that day or do you have to wait?

@Bow Ties Are Cool - If you haven't previously had any tests done they will probably do them all first, if you have and they are happy they may give you the go ahead.. just depends.. not much help sorry, i had to redo mine when they were abut 2 years old and wait another month for them to come back.

AFM - Okay start of december i had BFN from stim cycle, i am waiting on my first AF since then which i am now on CD34, anyone else late after a failed cycle? I dont think i have ever been this late It's driving me bonkers, I have had my back pain which is a usual indicator but nothing else
