Rose- Sending you big hugs hun, even if you weren't feeling overly optimistic I know it's still hard each time it happens.

Nicole- Congrats hun!! Hope you feel better soon, you sound like you went through an awful time Good luck with your next BT.

Rarah- congrats on being PUPO! 2 embies good luck hun for the 13th.

Gottagetlucky- fingers crossed you don't O before the 7th and you manage to get a FET this month.

SpringRain- how's the jabbing going? have you had an USS or Bt to check progress?
Midnyteblue and Freaked out- has AF arrived yet? do you guys do natural or medicated FET cycles?

Wish and Frances totally agree with your sentiments towards 2013, I didn't have anywhere near the heartache but it's still been a tough year for us. 2014 is now here though!

AFM- Had my BT day 7 (day 4 of jabbing) Oestrogen is only 145 so upped the gonal to 125 and going back mon 6th for BT and USS again. Hopefully i'm just slow to start.

    All very helpful.
Basically I am trying to budget as much as I can - we are almost finished building our house and have a few things we need to pay for upon moving in, such as lay-bys and curtains and such. So trying to factor in all of that and IVF costs as much as possible to be prepared. I hate being caught with my pants down when it comes to money and bills!!!

So busy couple of months ahead.. First IVF appt on the 15/1, hope to start injections around the 18/1, EPU est around 30/1, ET 4/2. Else will be the month after, but prefer to estimate for earlier to ensure we can afford!!!

House is due to be complete by mid-late February!!! So then organising orders, fencing and such. Then hopefully moving in!!! All with a very hopeful bfp!!! I can only plan for what might be and if it's not then I can adjust from there.

Ahh the joys of building as well as first IVF, i guess trying not to stress is out of the question. I suggest chocolate and lots of it!

AF arrived right on schedual, Happy New Year lol. We're doing a natural cycle because my FS wants to check my levels without all the drugs. Personally im all for it! DH wouldnt let me do any more drug rounds till at least Feb.

1st BT on the 10th so we'll know a bit more then

Its a hard thing to try and juggle.
We have put off the whole ivf process for the past 2 years as we bought a house and have needed to do a few things to it and the garden and the rest of the block (we have 5 acres). Needless to say it has veen costly and we are only half done. However we have decided that enough waiting and seeing what happens and to stop worrying how much it will cost to do ivf let alone raise a child...we afterall gave forever - still it doesnt help when I want everything yesterday...inclduing a bfp

Rj - I'm officially at day one of our FET cycle. Last time we did natural with the exception of the trigger injection because my FS wanted to get the timing perfect. But this time my normal FS will be on holidays so I am using a different one, who may have different ideas. (im a bit apprehensive about using a different FS, but maybe hes the key to a BFP, who knows!)

Hope things travel along nicely for you from here.

Good luck @freakedout44!! Let's hope you start 2014 with some great news!!

I didn't trigger in my last FET and so ended up having to have a BT every day for a week to try and get the timing just right! I'm going to ask for a trigger this time! My FS is away too- it's a bit daunting to put so much trust in someone else but I always think my FS would only let people who know what they're doing work in his clinic 😊

    Thanks gottagetlucky!

Spoke to the clinic and I have to have a blood test every second day from 13 jan until ovulation as my specialist is away so they wont do the normal internals. SoI guess now its a waiting game again until then!

Hopefully the "fresh" FS is our key to our BFPs! Wishing the best of luck to you.

Hi girls - just wanting to put it out there that everything is starting to feel real - ie we have our first fs appt on the 13th and that we could be actually pregnant come end of feb. Im excited but also feeling very much like something is going to stop us from this. Like either mine or my dps nerves or finances or who really knows. We werent actually going to see a fs until June when we were a little more financial however we (more like I) cant wait that long! Plus we were heading to adelaide then anyhow : ) why not kill two birds with the one stone? Anyhow. I just want to put it out there that im excited, nervous and a little dumb-founded about this whole experience. I thought making babies was going to be the easy part...not for us it seems but suppose we will know more soon : )
