    Hi ladies

Well, firstly, it totally sucks to be here with you all! (In the nicest possible way of course!). After a wonderfully promising Bfp back in October, I had a missed miscarriage that we discovered at our 8 wk scan. That conversation redefined the concept of "shock" for us I must say...

When my friends had told me about their miscarriages in the past, sure I had empathy for them, but oh my. I discovered that unless you have been through it, you just simply have no comprehension of how it feels.... I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

So here I am, two fresh transfers and an FET under my belt and hoping for better luck in 2014. I imagine we will do another FET in jan/ February sometime (very relieved to have 5 frosties in the fridge).

Look forward to the journey with you all and wish you the best of luck....

Welcome and condolences 90bayside, I followed a bit of your journey in the Oct thread and Im very sad to hear your news.

I agree 110% about the shock of an MMC, DH and refer to it as the worst days of our lives and it was supposed to be oh so joyous. And the empathy we show towards friends and family before truly understanding the devastating blow is completely understated.
To you during this time and best of luck for 2014

    Hi ladies,
Just wanted to jump aboard the January train with you all.
Sorry to see that I recognise a few names in here I've been reading back and I'm sorry to hear of some if your struggles.
Hopefully the new year will be the one for us all!
I'll hopefully be doing a FET in jan.. But with only one frosty, I'm scared we won't get there. With everything... Time will tell. All the best everyone.

    Hi Ladies,

Sorry to hear your sad news 90abayside. Big hugs

Hi Freakedout I recognize you from other threads it suck to be here. But 2014 is going to be ace!!

I got my stitches out yesterday. The incision has mostly closed up, and still draining just abit. I also found out I have got a hernia in my groin on my left side WTF, this is from surgery. And yep more surgery will be needed next year to fix this up. Bloody hell one things starts to heal up then its another thing. What makes this bad, is due to my extensive surgery on my tummy, lap is not an option so open incision again. :/

I wonder if this will effect pregnancy or EPU ??

Oh well I'm going to worry about that one later on not worth it now. I feel like all I do here is whine and sook. :$
