I think Hilary and Mallory are too similar sounding.

I would say too similar. DP and I considered Maverick but 1. we arent cool enough to pull it off and 2. we both hate Tom Cruise and that is the first thing that pops to mind when I hear Maverick.
    Such a cool name though.

I am having the same dilemma so I feel your frustration. I also am expecting number 3 (first 2 are: boy - Tyler and girl - Chloe) I had 2 girls names picked out which I loved - Kalia and Ava.
Then we found out its going to be a boy! I liked Riley James or Kayden james for a boy but daddy isn't so keen, he likes what I consider completely boring names whereas I'm like you and like names that you don't hear a lot. We have had to compromise with different but not weird lol.
Anyway, hope it helped in some way and that you both find one you can agree on, its not an easy feat..

I too think Mallory and Hilary and a bit too similar. Hilary and William are lovely strong traditional names, to me Maverick sounds really out of place. I don't think at all that Ellis and Sabrina are becoming popular. I've never met a single child with either of those names and I'm a multi parent and teacher so meet pretty much double the amount of children!

Some I like include Vivienne, Josephine, Valerie, Brooke, Caris (or Carys) and Dawn. Can't think of any boys names at the moment!
