    I had this with all mine ( damn e cup boobs). I usually feed laying down and I move myself down a bit further then night normally would. This helps.

    I found putting my hand under my boob sort of held it up so there was some room for her nose at the top worked well.
    Not to scare you, but yes you can smother your baby breastfeeding, especially if she is tiny and sleepy. It sounds as though she is pretty alert and realises when it is happening.

    Found a new position today that works alot better. I can lie down for night feeds and it seems to fit better with her tiny had and my abundance of boob.
    Google tells me it's called 'the Australian' goodness knows why. But I lay down and let her lie at an angle across my chest&tummy. Her legs dangle over the opposite side she is feeding from and she is almost face down to latch on. She nuzzles around a little to find the right spot. Then turns towards my head to rest and feed.
