I personally haven't been affected but my cousins house in the blue mountains burnt to the ground. As you can imagine, they're absolutely devastated, all they have are the clothes on their backs :-(

All the kids have been reunited with their parents.

I'm not in the bushfires (about 50km away), but we are completely cut off from the mountains and Sydney, we are supposed to be going to a friends birthday tomorrow in the mountains but I assume the roads will still be shut.

I have family that are living in areas directly under threat (3 separate households).

I'm checking Facebook regularly for updates. My cousin and her family were evacuated from their house last night and stayed in emergency accommodation. I'm unsure as yet whether their house was saved.

It's very scary. These fires are catastrophic

ETA: My other cousin has just been evacuated on the central coast. Fires are very close to their homes.

Not personally effected here. I am keen to offer my support if anyone needs it. Donations of toys and clothes or blankets too.

Can anyone in the area find out and post the appeal information, that we can donate to?

Not directly affected here but the town I grew up in has been severely impacted and a lot of people I know have lost houses or directly affected. It's devastating.

We've already donated a good amount of clothing, toiletries and baby blankets etc.

I have been trying to find out if there'll be a donation centre set up for people who need large items (fridges, Furniture etc) as we have a bunch of items I was going to sell but would rather give to someone who needs it.
