I have the Fisher price little lamb swing. In fact my 10 month old dd is in it right now!! She's still loves it. Early on the swing saved my sanity. She slept in it all the time. I love it.

    Thanks for replying!

Did it make it easier through the day for you in getting things done?

Does it stimulate and entertain bub?

If I didn't have that swing I wouldn't have got naps. ..or showers. ..or food!!! I was also pumping ebm constantly. .. it was a lifesaver.
Now when she is in it she plays with the tray... loves looking at herself in the mirror and plays with the mobile.
I got mine in ebay for half price. But even at full price I think it's well worth the money.
She really only started loving it at about 4 weeks old.
Early mornings. .. when she woke at 430am or something and I couldn't resettle her. .. I'd put her in the swing and she'd sleep for another hour or 2!!

It was a lifesaver when dd1 needed to have that late Arvo sleep right around dinner prep time. So far dd2 isn't keen but she is very light and the swing was swaying too much even on the lowest setting.

Yep those swings are lifesaver! While dd doesn't use it as much now,for the first few months she did all her day sleeps in it and if I couldn't settle her at night she(d sleep in the swing too. I don't know what I would have done without it! She doesn't really sleep in it anymore but its good for quiet time

Absolutely a swing was a lifesaver in the early months. Day sleeps and bad nights. Eating dinner. At 6 months age it didn't really work for her any more (i wish i had bought the little lamb one)but I still regard it money well spent.

Check out gumtree too as they stay in great condition as they don't get used for very long

At about 7 months I thought I'm going to sell it. ... She didn't go in it for ages. At 10 months I tried it again and it's great. So I just wanted to say don't be too hasty to sell it.

We paid about 100 bucks for fisher price space saver and knowing what I know now I would have paid a thousand.

As PP said It's a life saver!

I would recommend getting the space saver as we can take it with us and is so helpful if we need to settle bubs in a different environment (overnight stays etc)

We got the fisher price nature something (can't remember the name) swing. It's bulky. But if you have the space I would def recommend it.
We got it for $60 off eBay. Ttl bargain!

Dd 2weeks will happily sit in the swing for small periods. She hasn't fallen asleep in it. But when she is awake we pop her in if I need my hands free or to shower etc.
not quite amused by the moving birds and noise. It's more the motions ATM. But compared to the older style bouncers that you have to rock by hand -its a godsend. We didn't have one with ds and I wish I did.
