Tbh I just enjoy the fact that I can have an opinion that somebody might pay attention too- it's such a thrill! Never my intention to offend or sugar coat either, I just like the fact that I have a place to come to and get advice/tips/heated discussion/adult conversation

I have found though that even though I'm still new to the hub that I have started to recognise a lot of posters and usually I can tell even before I read their post if I'm going to agree with them or not lol

I don't sugarcoat, but I do try to consider my wording although I'm lazy when it comes to typing so I am probably more blunt than I intend to be.

Mmm. I used to think that too... But I find that people have certain views on certain things... & I don't hold a grudge against people I don't even know based on a topic we may or may not agree on. I find that while I may completely disagree with something one poster has written, I may completely agree with something they say in the next thread...

I don't hold a grudge either and I don't take offence because I disagree and that's why I said "usually" because sometimes I have been surprised

I'm curious to know how many people on here hold back on saying what they 'really' think... For fear of backlash & being attacked on this forum.

Do you find that you read the thread & get the general response & agree with it??? Or are you brave enough to voice your opinion despite maybe being the minority???
I don't agree for the sake of agreeing, if I don't agree with something I'll say it, I try not to be judgemental or mean. But I am only human, as we all are, and sometimes I can't stop myself getting annoyed and sniping.

But I'm pretty open about my opinions.

I'm the same online as I am IRL!

How I word things depends on the audience.....and how well I know them, the rapport I have with them.

That's not to say that I don't give my real opinion, just that my wording is more sensitively and carefully chosen if I don't know the people well....

I can be very blunt with those I am super familiar with.

On here if I feel I can't word my opinion respectfully (because I lack respect for someone else's words) then I tend to not reply to their post.

I hold back all. the. time.
Most of the time I actually start typing an answer but delete it before pressing send.

I know my opinion is usually not a popular one and think that posting it is not worth the trouble ;-)
