    Default Cramps like period pains :(

    Been having cramps feels like period pains im 35 weeks pregnant, there is no regularity to the cramps...
    Have been checked and my cervix is closed...
    Is this normal? Whats it meen? Thanks

    Off and on all day.... when they come sometimes there in lower abdo sometimes across belly button area and sharp feeling over belly button, more like period cramps in lower abdo... when they hapen maybe 30 seconds lasting in length...

    The last few weeks I was getting the same. They probably didn't last 30 secs.
    Mine have subsided.
    I figured as they weren't regular I wouldn't worry about it.

    I got these about a week or two out from my waters bursting (38 weeks). It was very different from Braxton hicks as they felt like my whole belly tightened up (like a belt was squeezing my belly) where these cramps felt lower and inside more ( like period pains). I had a ob appointment 3 days prior to waters breaking where I was not engaged at all ( this was my second pregnancy).

    Maybe it won't be too long so take it easy and ensure your all see for your big moment. Good luck

    I have also been getting the same , I'm 40 weeks I had Braxton hicks weeks ago but this is so different thinking labour will start soon, I hope the pain is like terrible period pain

    I have been getting them too hun at 36+3. I have also heard they increase as bub starts to drop and its everything getting ready.
    My Ob advice was rest, panadol/warm bath. If they dont settle after that call him or mat ward to see what they think.
