Chiefsgirl, sorry 😥 was hoping this is your month. Big hugs.

All the other ladies who are pregnant, I'm really enjoying reading your update. Annerley. JB. Riss. Sandra. Spidery. Heartstringz. Hope4baby. Wow! A big BFP group. We had a lucky thread. Hopefully chiefsgirl and I can join in soon.

I'm now on FET cycle. Had my first scan. Early days still so will have to wait and see. Fingers crossed. I'm not as excited this month because the bfn hurts. Will keep you ladies updated when I have my FET.

    xx

Good luck with your FET cycle! May it be the lucky one. did you decide if you were going to see Lynn? If you have any questions feel free it ask or PM me. I've tried so many things over the years I'm always happy to share.

I called Lynn's office. They wanted my history so she can decide if she can help. I just need to write to my clinic for it. I decided to give my current FS another go but in the meantime I'll ask Lynn to review my file so at least I can start on the waiting period. Dilemma as I was worried changing FS means I'm taking a step back for 2 steps forward. Lynn has a big waiting period anyway I think? So I might as well continue with current FS while I get the ball rolling with Lynn.

Riss, did you switch to Lynn? Or have always been with her?

She must have changed her process since getting so busy. Maybe it's a good thing to keep going till you see her. She might only be taking hard cases with multiple failed cycles.
We switched to her from MIVF at the end of last year. After the horrible experience we had there I didn't want to deal with my old FS anymore so we had to pay MIVF for our records. Such a rip off! Plus they charged us heaps to release and send DH frozen sperm to monash ivf to only find out that monash ivf actually went to pick it up from there so don't know what we had to pay for. Grrr! Hopefully this cycle works and you won't need to worry about moving

Yeah I think she changed her process as I know someone who transferred to her without the history file sent in advance. Wow your experience with Melb IVF was really bad. I'm with Melb IVF eeks!!! I hope it's not the same FS

One thing I really dislike about Melb IVF so far is the counseling. They said I have access to see counsellor when I'm in cycle. But once the ET is done its considered out of cycle. I found the tww the hardest and its the time I actually don't mind seeing a counsellor. I rang and they told me yep sure $100. I was like really? I've paid so much already. Sucks! I know monash IVF let's you see a counsellor for few during the tww. Ah well pros and cons for each clinic I suppose. So far my FS is good but will see how we go next year.

Yeah I had a bad time there. But not all fs are like mine. I didn't realise you had to pay for counselling after ET what a rip off! You are still in a cycle till the blood test! Grrr!! I never did counselling there but for my last cycle at monash I really needed it, especially in the tww. After losing bub I have had to work on controlling my anxiety and the counselling was invaluable.
I really got sick of the nurses at MIVF. I never saw the same one twice and there were so many times they got it wrong as to why I was there. At monash you have one nurse that you deal with and mine was lovely and knows your history well. After my mc at melb I went to see my fs for a consultation before starting the next cycle and when it was day one I called to start and the nurse said 'oh but aren't you pregnant?' Well no dumbo! Couldn't believe there was no communication between my fs and the nurse.
I'm happy I've moved but each to their own because I know ppl who were happy there and have their babies now and I also know ppl who were like me and moved on.

Wow I can't believe the FS and FN didn't communicate. That's so bad. It does feel like pure business in Melb IVF. I can't believe they didn't even wait for BT to declare cycle is finished. When I was told my cycle is done so no free counseling I might have made comment about how harsh that is to patients. There's one PLA in one of the clinics that I don't like. She doesn't have any empathy to IVF patients. I must be very lucky then Riss as I saw the same nurse for my first cycle. I did speak to a few nurses when I rang, but when I had scans etc it was always the same nurse. But yeah agree it would have been better if the same nurse call me back cos she knows my history the most.

I would move if I was in your shoes too. And it's a great move cos you got your BFP ☺

Hi Minib, please be sure to let us all know when you are PUPO, fingers will be crossed very tightly that you are next!

Happy 12wks for tomorrow Spidery!! What date is your NT scan again? Mine is on Friday and I had my bloods done Friday just gone. Best of luck!

Riss- how did your BT and scan go last week? When do you get the results? Good luck for your obs appointment this week!

Sandra and Heartstringz- yay for reaching 10weeks this week, double figures already! Hope you are both doing well! I've had pretty constant waves of nausea since 10week and yesterday was the worst of it!

Hope and Berra- if you two are about, would love to hear how you are both doing. Can't wait to hear how your 12wk scans went, count down if definitely on until you two reach the second trimester.

Chiefsgirl- how are you going? Thinking of you and hope you are treating yourself!

Hope everything is going well for your twins JB still so very excited for you! Can you believe it yet? What's next for you?

Muppa and Frances, how are you both going as well?
