Hoots - you must be relieved that they don't want to take them out at the moment at least, yes? Poor thing, I really feel for you. What you don't need is extra stress and discomfort during pregnancy! Glad bubba is doing well

    sunshine - goodluck tomorrow!

    Good morning all!

Yay Twocam, hoots and pilbara I love scan updates! Congrats Twocam so good to hear that the placenta move s up.Hopefully all goes well Hoots and fingers crossed the placenta moves up for you also Pilbara.

Pilbara, I had the GTT on Tuesday. Should get my results monday. Hoping that your test goes well for you.

Good luck today chook with your Glucose test. Hoping it goes nice and quickly for you.

Gilliebean I completely get the bending thing. I noticed it when trying to clean a Window and realised my flexibility is shot haha.

All quiet here which is lovely. Still being aware and won't be washing all the smoke out of the rugs yet but it appears the firies are getting closer to resolving the linksview fire. Fingers crossed. Petri was very active yesterday which I loved. At the ultrasound last week he was weighing 982g and placed as the 50th percentile. Let's hops that stays and he doesn't go through a big growth spurt haha. I have another antenatal monday and a 28 week ultrasound on the 4 Nov. Yay!

I will be working Saturday this week for the first time in forever. Helping with disaster recovery so I don't mind but I I am sure I will be very annoying for DH on sunday after a 6 day 50 hour week haha.

    Happy Friday everyone! !

Glad to see all the scans have gone well. Can't wait to see our little man again next Wednesday at out OB appointment.
I'm off to Newcastle for my sisters baby shower this weekend. Really looking forward to seeing how it all comes together as I've done a lot of the organising for it.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend x

All sounding positive in here ladies! I'm still reading along. 21 weeks today and my third ob appt late this afternoon. I HAVE to remember to get him to write me a "fit to travel" letter to take on holidays next week, otherwise I mightn't be allowed on the cruise ship!

    Morning all,

Tommi - glad your house is saves but I guess the real hard work for everyone now begins ;(

Hoots - xx finger for the ovaries it's crazy how long the OHSS has lasted.

I'm good had a us on wed with ob appoint & everything is looking great. Petri is 49% which is nearly average size but not quite so I guess they'll watch that. CS is booked for 8/3 & they are more than likely going to try a spinal of that doesn't work then general so I'm glad they will at least try.

Thank goodness ur Ok with the fires tommi, and after the accident. I took a leaf out of ur book and have started wearing my seat belt lap sash behind me. Took a bit to work out how to do it, but I'm onto it now!

Well Thurs 24 th Oct, at exactly 21wks, will go down as the day I felt JJ for sure. He was having a Ho down kick your heels up party for one! It was the most amazing thing. I've been waiting forever. It made me laugh every time. Brilliant.

I'm counting the last 3 months before I get to go on maternity leave. I guess I'm not tired or feeling sick, but just keen to move on to the next part of my life with Bub! We've started to get a few pressies now, as well as the cot and change table. So exciting.

I've added a prenatal yoga class and aqua aerobics to my weekly exercise regime, as well as a 30 min afternoon walk with the dogs every day.

The 19wk morphology scan came back clear and normal. Phew. Next ob apt is Monday. We'll get to see Jumping Jack again. Can't wait!

Hugs and excitement to you all! Xx

Great to hear all your updates.
Another all about me post ... but it might help someone out there reading. .

Just wanted to let you know I was told today on return of remaining blood tests that I am not just anemic but severely anemic. No hemoglobin in my blood due to such extreme depleted iron levels. My reserve tank it almost completely empty too. Ive started on 325mg x2 daily dose of "ferro-grad c for 30 days to try to get it back up and then remain on them until after birth or breastfeeding stops.
My levels were grest, really high through the first trimester bloods.
Dr said becoming anemic is very common in pregnancy.
but when it becomes this low it gets to dangerous oxygen levels in the blood.
Dr said no wonder baby girl is measuring so well and im tired and couch it after each time I do something ... ..
she's sucking what goodness I have left out of me!! But shes worth it.

And here I was just thinking I wasn't coping that well, always exhausted, unablevto last the distance. Image what would have happened if I wasn't on minimal no duties and all this light duty, rest time.
So happy they are onto it now. I also didn't realize how little iron blackmores have in it, compared to elevit. She has warned me these high iron dosages may well bring back the nausea again.

So to my other lovelys who swopped to elevit to elevate the morning sickness ... if you're more exhausted than you expected to be through this pregnancy it might be worth asking for an early blood test to check your levels.

So I explained to dh tonight jokingly .... this old body really has battled to get pregnant and keep this bubba growing safe. But I would do it all again

Apart from that all is great, stay safe every one... .... and bring on the weekend!

Tommi - ill keep my fingers crossed for your GTT results Hope you aren't too exhausted after working today!

kd - enjoy the baby shower! When is your sister due? Be nice for cousins to be so close in age, hopefully they'll be great little playmates

How did you go at the OB Sariele? And where are you off to on your cruise?!!

Lindsay - glad your OB appointment went well. I'm surprised they've booked you for a CS so early, I'm not even allowed to book into the hospital yet! I'm allowed to call back next week (27 weeks), and they will book me in then (or at least that's what they told me when I tried to book about a month ago)... Does it feel good to have it all organised and know how it's going to happen?

    hoots - ouch!

Musicalgal - yay on feeling movements! ...so amazing isn't it?

sunshine - so glad they picked up on your iron levels...hopefully you will start to feel better soon! I am still taking an iron supplement, but it doesn't seem to have made a difference at this point...my OB wouldn't send me for a blood test though, just said that my iron levels were better than his (I didn't even know they'd ever been checked, so must've been an early pregnancy BT), told my DH he must be working me too hard (so not true), and said that I could take some extra iron if I wanted...

AFM - no news really...my ankles are intent on disappearing and my shoes are getting tight, which is something I didn't experience last time...is it early to be retaining fluid at 26 weeks? ...thinking maybe I'll make a GP appointment to ask my questions since OB appointments are so rushed....
