I did it with DD... She was 2.98kg, and I had a vacuum delivery with a very small perennial tear. This time, I didn't do it, bubs was 3.840kg, and I was starting to tear so given an episiotomy... I'm inclined to think it might have helped, but who knows...

The needle pricks aren't nice :-( The second time they needed them at hospital I had to send hubby. Made me too upset.
Hope your bubby recovers really quickly.
    Hows your bub today?

We managed to escape the bloods today as doc was happy that he's more alert and his colour is improving .

He is looking good and has started having the BIG yellow poops.

That would have been a huge relief for you

Hi ladies, just a quick update while bub is sleeping. All is going well. Learning to BF. My milk supply has come hard and strong that she has difficulty latching on - discovered the Avent Breast Protectors, makes it so much easier.

She is calm until just after mid day then becomes hard to settle in the afternoon. She hates clothes and nappy changes unfortunately so trying to do it in between a feed.

Hope all you new mums are enjoying this time with bubs. Good luck to all the soon-to-be mums, it's the best gift x

He is beautiful Mel! ...glad to hear that he is doing better too! ...our bubs are only a day apart, and it sounds as though they are progressing in much the same way

glad to hear that you are doing well Rachael

how are all the other mums and new bubs doing?

and how are the mums of belly bubs going? Hopefully you are not too uncomfortable at the moment, and are getting excited... I for one cannot wait to hear more arrival news!

afm sorry, I don't know how to post pictures...have tried, but am a little technologically impaired... We are attempting our first outing as a family of 4 today. We will be off to the park as soon as bubs has finished his feed. DD has been doing great, but is starting to go a little stir crazy, and I think it will do her good to have an outing that is about her, rather than everything being about the baby.
