    Gillie .... GOOD LUCK hun!!

Chook .... sounds like you are next after Gillie then

Tommi .... don't worry, my bag is only half packed and I'm due in 8 days!

AFM .... still nothing! So I made daughter a dental appointment for next Tuesday and borrowed a couple of novels from the library. Figure that if I make plans then bub might actually get moving...

Go girls! So exciting that bubs are starting to arrive! Can't wait to hear stories and see pics! I'm still back at the stage of working full time, organising the nursery and having a baby shower!

Twocam -you're in your 40s too? Has there been any talk of a caesar due to maternal age or is everything going ahead natural cos the pregnancy has been fine? I ask cos I'm a 41yo older 1st time mum. Have had a straight fwd pregnancy.

    Good luck Gilliebean & Chook!!

Everyone is being induced etc and I've been in hospital since Wednesday trying to keep mine in! Ironic -had bleeding all day Wed and got half way through my first antenatal class: overview of labour, bleeding continued and so did cramping, ended up being sent to delivery suite and am currently being treated for preterm labour. How's that for intro 101!!!

ive had a very painful speculum exam, so many needles I'm pretty sure I can call myself a junkie And have had 2 steroid injections to help mature jnrburgers lungs in case he decides to not cooperate and tablets to stop contractions. Ive got an ultrasound this arvo to make sure no blood clots behind placenta etc and then they will determine if I need to be transferred to Westmead or Randwick.

so in conclusion: both my butt cheeks hurt, I'm starving cos they feed you like a mouse, I have needle holes everywhere and while most of you are starting to scream "get them out!", I'm screaming "put him back in!"
    I love pregnancy!!!

    xo

Hoots sorry to hear, it's really scary. Lucky no two pregnancies are the same, hopefully it will be easier for you next time.
