Happy new year ladies Hope you all had a lovely night. I think i was in bed by 10:30 lol
I am going to attempt posting some pics of the nursery. We got the cot put together and the bedding ready. I'm so happy with it and think my husband did an amazing job with the painting.

Technically if there are no complications the baby can be classified as full term at 37 weeks so if you are induced at 39 weeks you aren't really early. Apparently being induced makes labour more painful so I am hoping that does not happen to me but I refuse to go further than 10 days over my due date. I still have a long wait so will have to wait and see what plans my OB has for me.

We bought a stencil online which cost about $90. It came from the US. I wasn't here when my husband did it but I know it was very tedious. He doesn't like people to get too close as you see all the imperfections lol but looking at it as a whole it really does look great!

Thanks Maria! We got the bedding made from Red Plum Linen, not cheap but totally worth it. It was just over $300 for sheet set, quilt cover and patchwork cushion. The stencil came from a place called cutting edge stencils in the States. I spent many days/nights googling and trying to find exactly what I pictured in my head and now that it's done I could not be happier!

    Happy New Year everyone!

    Kd - that looks great!

Pilbara, Twocam - They are recommending inducing at 39 weeks in my case because of the combination of my age and the big baby. However the doc at the appointment last Friday said that it was still our choice and I could choose to go longer with monitoring.

Originally I wanted to leave everything alone, but now I'm thinking I will go with the doctor's recommendation and go with inducing at 39 weeks, since I'm just too worried about something going wrong. However, I've been having accupuncture and am going to try accupuncture induction after 38 weeks. Hopefully this will help labour to start naturally, or at least prepare things so medical induction is easier.

Kd that is the style I like. Not into the disney type of stuff (especially the colour pink). I have a light grey feature wall and chevron curtains imported from the US. Just need to hang these canvases then ill upload some pics.

Thanks chook, I'll look into the acupuncture induction... How long have you been having acupuncture for?
