Not sure if he will break my waters or use the gel. Maybe it depends on the situation at the time. He did say if woman over contract they can slow it down with an injection, but I would be so worried about the baby. A friend of mine was against the gel but I wouldn't want to go passed my due date now.

    Happy birthday chook!

I am sure that the risk must be very very small (or else surely they would induce everyone on or before their due date just as a normal procedure, and clearly they don't do that)... But, with IVF we at least have the luxury of being absolutely certain of our dates, so there's no chance of accidentally inducing when bubs is undercooked. Lets just hope you go naturally before your due date, then all of this is moot

Pilbara, asked another friend. She was given an injection to bring on labor. Will think about it if the time comes.

Any of you ladies have plans for NYs tonight? Most of everyone we know are away, going out or watching the fireworks. Don't think it's a good idea to be in crowds ATM or driving late tonight (drunk drivers) so will probably watch the fireworks with DH on tele.

Happy NY everyone! Hope 2014 changes all our lives for the better.

Oh sunshine congratulations! What a beautiful name, but what a stressful experience! Glad you are both ok! Cant wait to see a picture of your precious little girl!

Nothing planned here tonight, went to a day spa today and had a massage, facial and foot scrub and feel amazing! We might just get takeaway and chill at home, unless i decide to partake in a wee glass of champers!
