Its going round. Ive read on few of the threads.
Ive had just diahrrea for 8 days today. Absolutely draining me but just keeping liquids up. At hospital dr said its my body dealing with fluid and prepping for baby. Mind you at assessment unit they said vomiting&diahrrea is going around over here too. Feel sorry for you hun. Don't know what id do if I had vomiting aswell.

If it's any help, I had a Afternoon High Tea at the Hilton Hotel. This suited me as I wanted a small setting, zero prep and zero clean up. It was only 2.5 hours long and that was pretty much when I was getting 'over' the afternoon and just wanted to go and rest

Twocam - to throw in my 2 cents, I've had the Ameda Purely Yours recommended. Especially for those of us who have to go back to work early.
2 lactation consultants and 4 working mothers.
That's what I'll be looking at.

Had an OB apt yesterday. He doesn't think I have serious SPD. If it is painful to touch your pubic bone then that's a sign. I might have a mild case or just really soft ligaments at this point. Down to weekly appt now.

Setting up the nursery. It took about 10 samples of paint to choose the right colour so setting up was on hold for a while. DH is now in full swing

Sorry ladies who are sick. Our immune systems are so low we catch everything. The best thing to do is rest. I have been sick a few times. Always check your temp that's most important.

Morning all! Ended up being monitored at hospital yesterday for 5 hours - by then there wasn't anything left to come out but dehydration had driven my blood pressure down (I already have low BP) and I still couldn't keep anything down. Bub was happy as Larry, although every time my tummy rumbled he tried to escape so it must have been pretty loud in there Apparently 2 other women and 1 midwife from our birthing class had been in with the same thing so it's def going around.

Twocam hope you're feeling a bit better today and are rehydrated and keeping food and water down.

I felt so relieved to see my dr upon arriving at clinic today. Nothing better than being greeted with open arms and big hugs on departing.
She polietly told me one look and she knew i wasn't right withbthe swelling and colour of me. She reviewed the last week and half events and results checked bub and bp which was up again, swelling particularly around my stomach, then left to see medical director.
Decision has been made I can't safely continue and am being induced next Saturday 28/12/13.

Her and I both hope I spontaneously go into labor before then , but if not I see her friday for one final internal to decide on which induction option I will have depending what stage im at.

Im relieved as the swelling is unbearable some days and my bp keeps fluctuating. Some days the numbness in my legs is becoming unsafe to walk and I now am becoming unstable as I have no flexibility in my knees or ankles.
On the induction consent forms she also had made mention of bubs size!

We're going to keep hush and just tell my mum and dad next friday as they are here staying with us for xmas. That way its still a surprise for everyone else.
