    Default Bottle Feeding

    Hi Guys!

I am currently bottle feeding DD who is 3 weeks old. Im using an Avent Newborn teat however it seems she is getting the milk too fast.
Has anyone had this problem or can recommend a different teat/brand?

    Thanks

My DS is almost 3 weeks and is bottle fed too. We are using the Tommie Tippee bottles and haven't had a problem. Are you using the slowest flow teat?

I would recommend pigeon. The teats are softer and the flows I found are perfect.

I highly recommend the MAM bottles, my 5wk old has had so much trouble with reflux etc and these bottles definitely help

I use MAM anti colic I bought them from Target. I went from having an extremely windy baby to a settled one who burps so much easier and latches onto the teat properly

They also self sterilise in the microwave if you sterilise

I'm having the same problem with the avent flow. A friend told me the pigeon teats fit the avent bottles and the flow is slower. I haven't tried it for myself yet though.

Closer to nature are great, use the stage 1 teats, they have a valve in them that stops the milk from flowing too fast :-)
