We've had our 3rd failed transfer. Doc has sent me for testing for autoimmune and clotting issues to see if there is a reason for 3 failed implants.. Hoping for test results this week so we can fit in another cycle before Xmas. Looking at growing our embys from 3 days when thawed to blast, or maybe assisted hatching this time round too.

Can anyone give us some insight from your experiences, how many embryo implants it might take me to fall pregnant? Im 37, excellent health and higher than average AMH levels. Should I fall pregnant quickly? Or am I dreaming?

    Hi Yasnat,
I have tried typing this twice on my computer but lost it both times so will try one last time from phone but in much shorter version!

We have had 1 cancelled cycle (poor response to meds), 1 stim that made it to egg pick up but freeze all, no fresh transfer (7 eggs collected, fertilised and frozen), and so far 3 failed FET. I'm 29 with no know issues (hoping blood work will be back in next few days with some answers)!

I know there are others with better stories than ours, and also with worse stories, just keep an open mind. In hindsight C and I both started the process a year ago thinking it would work first time round, but have learned to take each cycle as it comes.

    Good luck on your journey!

    T

    Hi Yasnat,
    We've done 3xIUI- BFNs
Currently on 1st IVF cycle in TWW. Have 5 embies in the freezer, so can go a few more months without doing another stim.

    Have POAS earlier today-BFN.
Just waiting for AF to show now, whilst also trying to stay a bit hopeful.

i was 33, normal to low AMH.
    2 x IUDI = BFN
    1x IVF 22 eggs, 18 fertilised, 3 viable embryos.
Had a 6 day fresh transfer, BFP , looked like twins, but only one 'normal' sac. Put on meds to 'dissolve' other sac.
    had grade 4 placenta praevia.
Result, healthy baby boy! And two embies on ice.

Like PP I expected it to work first time and was floored when it didn't. Remember to take it one cycle at a time. There are no guarantees. Only one embie inserted. QFG only allow one embie until 3 failed ivf cycles have occured. Then you have the option for two. Also, one transfer can still result in twins. Keep that in mind too

there is a wealth of info from these lovely ladies to help with any questions you may have. All the best on your journey.

Still BFN today (8dp5dt). Just waiting for AF to show now.
The blast they put back was already hatching, so there is no likelihood of a late hatch/implantation.
Adding insult to injury, this is the longest I've made it between trigger shot and AF. It's hilariously cruel to have negatives and no AF.
Tomorrow we will look onwards and upwards but today is pretty crap
