    Yep they sure do and it's waaaaay worse as by your 20 week scan you have a large unpleasant thing jumping on your bladder. Then if they are running late.... It's all kinds of hell

    Internal scans you need a completely empty bladder. It's only the tummy ones u need a full bladder

    Weird that he thinks you might be further, when your digital only said 1-2. Anyway he's the doc, so he'd have more idea. Did you get your hcg results? I never needed a full bladder later on in pregnancy. Only for the 12 week scan.

    At my 7 weeks scan they were so tiny so it may be a bit early.

    Hospital called earlier. I have to be there at 6am for a 7:30 c section. So much for my last sleep in!! Saw the Obs this afternoon and he was very reassuring about the whole process. I can't believe in 13 hours it'll be all over and I'll have 2 new bubs!!

    Hope all goes well Squiggs and that your recovery is swift.

    Becca - I haven't had a scan before 5.5 weeks before. I know at that stage all you see is a little black dot (in that case I saw two...but that's another story!).
